Some of our Young Scholars recently took a field trip to visit the National Building Museum in Washington D.C. A big thank you to Ms. Janofsky for organizing this opportunity for our Young Scholars! And, a big thank you to Ms. Michaels for taking them!
Hello McNair Upper Families,
It's been a long time since we have a full week of school and we almost had one this week minus Tuesday's two-hour delay. I'm happy for five full days next week! Every minute of learning counts as we move into the spring months!
I would like to extend a big thank you to our McNair PTA for hosting last Friday evening's BINGO Night. Not only was it well-attended, but it was so nice to see families from both McNair ES and McNair Upper ES come together for an evening of fun. We look forward to doing it again at an outdoor movie night toward the end of the school year.
This past week we celebrated Read Across America Week with a variety of spirit days to include D.E.A.R. time (Drop Everything and Read Time). It's hard to find time throughout the day to just pause on new instruction and read a favorite book of yours for leisure. I'm glad we took the time to do it this week. A big thank you to Ms. Soni, librarian, for planning a fun week of dress up days and events for us to enjoy!
