RVES News and Notes - March 6

March 6 - News and Notes!

Dear Rolling Valley Families,

Even with some snow in March and a delayed start, our students stayed focused and kept their routines strong all week long. Their consistency and positive energy were wonderful to see.

We wrapped up a fantastic Read Across America celebration filled with themed spirit days and, of course, our much anticipated annual Reading Swap. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible librarian, Samantha Reynolds, whose thoughtful planning and organization made the entire week such a success.

Our sixth graders had an exciting opportunity to explore STEM pathways during their visit to the Army Museum, sparking curiosity and real world connections. Back at school, classrooms were buzzing with meaningful learning, from rich reading experiences and hands on math exploration to new skills developing in both language arts and reading.

It was a full and joyful week of growth across our school community. I hope you have an enjoyable weekend.

Read Across America Week

Book Exchange

Our third annual Book Exchange in honor of Read Across America Week was a success! Thanks to the amazing families and teachers in our community, we were able to collect over 1,000 books that students could choose from! They were so grateful to be able to choose from such an assortment and got so excited about reading; their enthusiasm was contagious! Thank you again to everyone who helped make this event amazing!
