Rolling Meadows, Viator finish fourth at girls state basketball tournament

On their way to the girls basketball final four, Rolling Meadows and St. Viator pulled off several upsets.
They couldn’t pull off another on Friday afternoon, though.
Viator fell to top-ranked Lincoln 55-34 in the Class 3A semifinals. Later Friday, St. Viator lost 56-40 to Trinity in the third-place game.
In 4A, top-ranked Loyola was too much for Rolling Meadows, beating the Mustangs 46-33. Rolling Meadows lost 43-30 to Belleville East on Friday night in the third-place game.
