7th U.S. soldier killed in Iran war was stationed at Colorado’s Fort Carson

Sgt. Benjamin Pennington, a 26-year-old Army soldier who was assigned to a Fort Carson battalion, died Sunday from injuries he sustained in an attack on troops stationed in Saudi Arabia.
