The blurry Monday morning after the weekend time change always raises the question of whether you’re getting enough sleep. (The answer is almost always no.) But now, with the rise of predawn influencers who are happily sharing their hyper-productive 5 a.m. routines, another question: Should we be getting up earlier to get more from our day? Are the early birds onto something? And more importantly: Where does this leave the groggy riser, the person who doesn’t really snap into gear until later in the day? As Globe reporter Zosia Bielski reports, listening to your internal clock may be better for you than we think. She spoke to experts who warn against cramming more stress into your early hours and say there can be health repercussions from forcing yourself awake too early if it doesn’t come naturally.
