This week, the nRF54LM20A and nRF54LM20B SoCs reached general availability, and they are now broadly available for evaluation and development. The nRF54LM20 DK is available through distribution and is the development kit for both the nRF54LM20A and nRF54LM20B SoCs.

The nRF54LM20A is a high-memory wireless SoC for advanced Bluetooth LE and Matter applications. It expands the nRF54L Series with a high-memory option, featuring 2 MB NVM and 512 KB RAM, while maintaining the same MCU functionality with a 128 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor and RISC-V coprocessor. The nRF54LM20A also adds an enhanced peripheral set, high-speed USB, and up to 66 GPIOs.

The nRF54LM20B extends the feature set of the nRF54LM20A by adding an integrated Axon NPU. The NPU increases the speed and efficiency of on-device AI inferencing up to 15x compared to using the CPU for the same task.
