It’s a great time to be in Los Angeles. The sun is shining high in the sky, the Oscars are just three days away, and the city is buzzing with excitement as it heads into Hollywood’s biggest night.
Last night there was no better place to be than Bar Marmont. The sexy, swanky lounge tucked away on Sunset Boulevard hosted Vanity Fair’s Vanities Party, and young Hollywood showed up in style. With the event featuring Odessa A’zion, Kaia Gerber, Role Model, and Tyriq Withers as cohosts; a Hollywood-chic dress code; and a busy red carpet brimming with star power, I took one look around and thought to myself, Man, it’s great to be young.
And now, with the Vanities Party in the rearview, we set our sights on the institution that is the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, which will make its LACMA debut on Sunday. The museum’s brand-new David Geffen Galleries open to the public next month, and the Vanity Fair Oscar Party will be the first major event held at LACMA’s new addition. So, before we roll out the red carpet and get our livestream cameras rolling, tag along with Nate Freeman for a sneak peek at the most important—and controversial—museum building in a generation. |
