Hey Krzychu,

So this weekend I did something kind of stupid.
I went skiing.

Now — I've been snowboarding for years. I'm comfortable on a board, I know what I'm doing, and I can get down pretty much any slope without embarrassing myself.

But skiing? I've done it exactly once before. Years ago. For about an hour. On a surface so flat it barely qualified as a hill.
This time I decided to go all in. I bought brand new ski boots and poles, grabbed a pair of used-but-decent skis (wasn't sure I'd stick with it), and — here's the key part — I intentionally left my snowboard at home.

No safety net. No "I'll just switch back if it gets hard." Full commitment. Bridges officially burned.
