  • The next We Black Folk showcase takes over Somerville’s Center for the Arts at the Armory with Tyler Donkoh-Halm, Tim Hall, and more.

  • Groove with PRYVT as the indie rock duo stops at Warehouse XI in Somerville.

  • Another unwitting participant becomes the center of attention in the series “Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat,” premiering on Prime Video.

  • Comedy veterans Bob Nelson and Lenny Clarke perform at Giggles Comedy Club in Saugus Friday and Saturday.

Saturday

  • California’s Joyce Manor bring their pop-punk sounds to the House of Blues.

  • Tom Brady is back on the gridiron for the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, airing on Fox Sports.

  • Bosoma Dance Company, now in its 22nd season, presents “In the Balance” at the Boston Center for the Arts Calderwood Pavilion Saturday and Sunday.

  • Suzy Eddie Izzard performs her one-woman “Hamlet” adaptation at the Shubert Theatre Saturday and Sunday.




Sunday

  • Grammy winner FKA twigs brings her “Body High” tour to MGM Music Hall at Fenway.

  • “Friends” legend Lisa Kudrow is back for another season of “The Comeback,” debuting on HBO.

  • Masterpiece’s latest literary adaptation “The Forsytes,” based on John Galsworthy’s series, premieres on PBS.

Ongoing

  • “Say It Loud: AAMARP, 1977 to Now,” at the Institute of Contemporary Art, continues through Aug. 2.

Last chance

  • Presented by Liars and Believers, the post-apocalyptic play “The End is Nigh” ends its run at The Foundry in Cambridge on Sunday.
