When it comes to spotting what’s next in fashion, Kim Nemser has a track record worth paying attention to. Now the Chief Product & Supply Chain Officer at Warby Parker, she brings a sharp eye for design and a deep understanding of the customer to everything from trend forecasting to product innovation.
Kim’s career has been at the intersection of style and strategy, and today, she’s channeling that expertise into shaping the future of eyewear—from defining the next “it” frames to exploring where fashion and tech meet. We sat down with Kim to talk 2026 trends, creative collaborations, and how she stays ahead in an industry that never slows down.
In your role at Warby Parker, how are you forecasting consumer preferences in a world that moves fast—what signals do you look for when predicting the next “it” frame?
With trends moving faster than ever, it’s important to stay closely attuned to what’s happening across fashion, entertainment, and social media. I also strive to keep a close pulse on what’s resonating with our own customers, and our merchandising team does regular store visits to talk with the store teams on feedback they are hearing from customers. Paying attention to color and material is also extremely valuable when predicting what will land. Introducing new colorways, finishes, and hardware treatments can instantly refresh a classic silhouette and make it feel relevant again.
How has your fashion background helped shape Warby Parker’s product vision?
