Eggnormous Spring Festival (10 - 11:30 a.m.)
Bring your baskets, hunt for eggs, take a photo with the bunny and enjoy nonstop fun at the Reston Community Center Hunter Woods. After the festivities, head over to RCC’s Terry L. Smith Aquatic Center for a free family swim from noon to 5 p.m.

Historic House Walk and Talk (10 - 11:30 a.m.)
Take a stroll around the 1784 Historic House at Green Spring Gardens Park in Alexandria to learn about its architecture and historic designed landscape. Step inside the house to hear compelling stories of public service, trailblazing women, espionage, civil rights, enslavement and freedom. Registration is $20.
Spring 2026 Tree Rescuer Extravaganza (10 a.m. - noon)
Learn about invasive species and how they are damaging our trees and other native plants at Pohick Regional Library in Burke. We'll cover how to spot invasive plants and work together to remove them from trees and the surrounding area.
Capital Harmonia: Women's Chorus Performances (Times Vary)
Celebrate Women's History Month by listening to and learning about American female composers at Great Falls Library and Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library. Join Capital Harmonia for a performance that will feature music composed and arranged by women.
President Lincoln's Cottage (3:30 - 4:30 p.m.)
Join us for a presentation on President Abraham Lincoln's Washington, D.C. cottage at John Marshall Library in Alexandria. Museum staff will share the history and importance of the cottage where Lincoln made nation-changing decisions about the Union, freedom and the presidency.
Vernal Pool Ventures Campfire (5:30 - 7 p.m.)
Join us after hours as we hike and search for signs of amphibian life at Ellanor C. Lawrence Park in Chantilly. Learn about the life cycle and early development of local amphibians. End with s'mores by a campfire. Registration is $12.
Nighttime Farmer (8 - 9 p.m.)
Be a farmer for the night and help us check on young and old farm animals at Frying Pan Park in Herndon. Enjoy a nighttime farm tour and learn what it takes to care for our animals during birthing season and beyond. Registration is $10.
