Read-A-Thon
Thank you for making this year’s Read-A-Thon a huge success. Our students logged an incredible 109,000+ minutes of reading and together we raised over $7,700!
Your participation and generosity make a real difference. These funds directly support field trips, staff appreciation and other initiatives that strengthen our community and provide meaningful opportunities for our students throughout the year. We are so proud of ALL our readers and sincerely grateful for your support.

Restaurant Night - Tuesday April 14
Join us for April Restaurant Night at California Fish Grill (7003 Manchester Blvd) on Tuesday, April 14, from 11:00 AM–8:00 PM. Enjoy a meal in person or online, and 25% of sales will be donated back to the PTA to support field trips, staff appreciation, and more!

Help Clean Up our Bush Hill Community!
Help our school get ready for spring by lending a hand with the Bush Hill Garden Club! Join us Saturday April 25 as we weed, prune, plant, and freshen up our school grounds. There are tasks for all ages, so anyone can help.
Flexible hour‑long shifts are available, and you’re welcome to sign up for more than one shift.

Our teachers and staff give so much every day, now it’s our turn!
Staff Appreciation Week is May 4–8, and we’re looking for volunteers to help plan a fun and meaningful week to celebrate our incredible Bush Hill team.
If you enjoy being creative, organizing activities, or simply love supporting our teachers and staff, we’d love to have you join us! Volunteers will help choose a theme and plan special touches to show just how much our staff is appreciated.
Planning kicks off right after spring break.

STEM Expo
Looking for a FREE, fun and educational weekend activity? Check out the Navy League’s Annual STEM Expo on Sunday, April 19, from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center.
Designed for students in grades 5–12—but open to all ages—the STEM Expo features interactive workshops, hands-on demonstrations, and real‑world career insights in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Kids Business Fair is Coming Soon
We’re excited to announce that the Bush Hill PTA will host our 2nd Kids Business Fair May 16. Students will have the chance to create, market, and sell their own products while learning real‑world skills like creativity, problem‑solving, and confidence.
Now’s the perfect time for kids to start thinking about their business ideas!
What will they create? What will they sell? Handmade crafts, games, art, treats, or something totally unique—the possibilities are endless!
