CES Family Connection - March 27

Happy Friday,

It has been an eventful week as we head into Spring Break. Following Tuesday’s successful Fun Run, we want to express our deepest gratitude for your support of this fundraiser. These funds will allow us to significantly enhance our outdoor learning environments and provide exciting field trip opportunities for our students. Donations are still open for one more week! It was a joy to see the kids have such a great time at the Fun Run, and we thank you for making it all possible.

Additionally, this week, it was shared with families that due to the school closure for the special election on April 21st and the school cancellations due to weather, the scheduled Early Release Wednesday for April 29th has been canceled and will now be a traditional full day of instruction.

Finally, please save the date for Saturday, April 11th, at 9:00 AM as we host our first annual Hero Hike at CES. We are coming together to honor our veterans, service members, and first responders with a meaningful trek around our CES campus. To symbolize the commitment of our heroes, participants are invited to carry a backpack filled with non-perishable food items. Following the hike, all collected goods will be donated to a local military food bank to support those who serve. If you would like to donate to this cause, click HERE. We hope to see you there!

Have a fantastic Spring Break! We look forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready to learn when we return on Tuesday, April 7.
