A message from Principal Steven McFarlane

Kilmer Community,

Whether you are traveling or staying close to home, I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe Spring Break.

Be sure to check out the calendar below for upcoming events. From Crosstown Hoops to the school musical: Once Upon a Mattress, there’s a lot in store during the month of April.

Finally, a friendly reminder that Monday, April 6th is a Teacher Workday. We look forward to welcoming students back from Spring Break on Tuesday, April 7th.

Have a wonderful break and as always, reach out with any questions.

Sincerely,

Steven McFarlane

Principal

Positive Referrals

Here are just a few of the Positive Referrals received by our Kilmer Cougars from staff members this week!

Brayan D.D. - Thank you Brayan for always coming into class ready to learn.  Thank you also for helping other students when they don't understand.  Thank you Brayan!

Viju Vidyut S.D. - It's awesome to see you so invested in doing well on your English essay! You've been working really hard to perfect your thesis and topic sentences, and it shows!

Taylor B. & Sofia M. - Went out of her way to invite another student who was sitting alone to join her table at recess.

Evan B - Evan, you saw that several of your friends were struggling with factoring, which is our most difficult subject in Algebra I HN.  You took them under your wing and worked with them at the whiteboard until they understood.  Thank you!
