I wanted to personally let you know that we've made the difficult decision to close Day1x.
What we built with Day1x wouldn't have been possible without you. From the early days through to where we are now, the support, feedback, and community you helped create has meant everything to us.
Just last week, we were honoured to receive Best New Crypto Exchange and Excellent Rates & Fees at the WeMoney Awards. That recognition belongs as much to you as it does to us.
Operating a crypto exchange in Australia comes with ongoing banking and infrastructure limitations that make it increasingly difficult to compete at the level we believe our clients deserve. After a lot of consideration, we've made the decision to close Day1x and shift our focus back to the CFD and Forex space through our sister companies, Fusion Markets and Global Prime.
From today, we will begin winding down the platform in stages.
- Effective immediately we are not accepting any new deposits
- Trading will remain open for one more week
- After that, all trading activity will be disabled
- You will still be able to withdraw both crypto and fiat balances
We'll be communicating each step along the way and remain fully committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for you.
We still believe deeply in crypto, in Australian investors, and in the future of trading. This isn't a step back, it's a shift in how we continue to support the space given the current landscape and our experience.
