Colorado police are looking for a missing 17-year-old girl who they say may be traveling to Nebraska, according to a CBI alert.

A federal lawsuit filed Tuesday accuses Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams and the Weld County Jail of unconstitutionally censoring mail that was sent to inmates.

A Colorado State Patrol trooper pulled Brandon Sargent-Zuniga over for speeding on Jan. 16 and found a woman dead in the passenger seat, according to the Commerce City Police Department.

The 10-year-old and 12-year-old girls were last seen at their northwest Aurora home between Sunday night and Monday morning, police said.

Witnesses last saw Sladen Capps, 17, in the 9200 block of York Street in Thornton in the afternoon of March 20.
