Climate Week Coffee Kickoff

April 20 from 8:00 am – 9:30 am at Lubber Run Park Oak Room, 300 N Columbus St

Join EcoAction Arlington for a morning gathering that brings together residents, sustainability leaders, nonprofits and local businesses to kick off Climate Week in Arlington. Connect with fellow community members, hear short talks from local climate leaders and explore practical ways to take action together. The event will also introduce a climate week challenge on the GetGreen App, a tool that helps individuals track sustainable habits and discover local climate initiatives.

Climate Action Art Contest

Arlington County is inviting K–12 students to participate in the Climate Action Art Contest, creating artwork inspired by the theme “Our Arlington. Our Climate. Our Future.” Students can submit drawings, paintings, digital art, photography or poetry that reflect climate challenges, solutions or actions families can take to protect the planet. Submissions are due April 30, 2026. There will be prizes. Learn more and enter
