Now through May 4, the Vision Zero team wants your feedback on the draft action plan and its five categories:

  • Engagement
  • Behavior Change
  • Program Structure

Projects include improvements to bus transit, rail, roadways, transportation technology, bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, and intersection and interchange upgrades. Custis Trail East Milling and Repaving Project – Work Planned in March-April 2026

Crews from the Arlington County Department of Parks and Recreation will begin milling and repaving work on three eastern segments of the Custis Trail beginning on or about March 30 to improve ease of access and overall trail conditions. The trail will be closed and trail users will need to use alternative routes.

 

Location: North Oak Street to North Lincoln Street

Dates (weather permitting, schedule subject to change):

  • April 6-13: N Lincoln St (Hayes Park) to Langston Blvd (Lyon Village)
  • April 13-15: Langston Blvd (Lyon Village) to 21st St N (near Mom's Organic Market)
