How can you tell the difference between identical looking loaves? Our Bread Notes series is here to help.

This time we’re heroing the quintessential craft sourdough: the San Francisco. Ours is light, creamy and accessible. With tangy fermented notes and a mild sweetness, this plant-based loaf has an open crumb and a dark, crackly and floured crust.

It’s the whitest sourdough in our range, but not strictly white as we add wholemeal and heritage grains.
Pairs beautifully with: This loaf is an all-rounder – great for sandwiches, brunch, soups, the lot.

Grains: Wholemeal spelt, wholemeal emmer, regenerative white wheat, heritage white wheat, rye flour.
