There will be no school for students on Tuesday, April 21, for the Virginia statewide election. Student activities, athletic practices, and events may proceed as scheduled.

Fairfax County Public Schools will still exceed the required number of instructional hours for students, as set by the Virginia Department of Education.

End-of-Year Information

With the end of the school year quickly approaching, we want to share a few important reminders with our students and families.

AP/IB Testing

Students who are participating in AP or IB testing at their base school and will be missing Academy classes as a result should complete the Chantilly Academy AP/IB testing form to ensure that their attendance is recorded correctly.  You can pick up a blank copy of the form in the Academy Office or print a copy from the All School: Chantilly Academy Schoology course.  Forms should be completed and turned in to the Academy Office by Friday, April 24th.  Electronic forms will not be accepted, students must turn in a hard copy.

Please see Mrs. Nicholls in the Academy Office or email her at knicholls@fcps.edu with questions.

Senior Internship Programs

Seniors who are participating in a senior internship program through their base school (ex: Charging Forward, Finish Strong, etc.), should complete the Senior Internship Participation Form.  Please ensure that you complete all fields accurately so that your attendance is recorded correctly for the time that you will be out for your senior internship.  Be sure to communicate your plans to participate in an internship with your Academy teacher(s) in advance to confirm that you meet all course requirements prior to the start of your internship.  This form should be completed by Friday, May 1.

Please note: all information will be verified with your base school.  You should only complete this form if you have been APPROVED to participate in a senior internship.

Please see Mrs. Nicholls in the Academy Office or email her at knicholls@fcps.edu with questions.

Financial Obligations

Class Fees: Students taking a Chantilly Academy course with a class fee should ensure that their class fees are paid as soon as possible.  If you have an outstanding class fee, you will be receiving an email reminder in the coming weeks.  Fees can be paid anytime by logging into my MySchoolBucks and clicking on "Invoices."

Parking Tickets: Students who have received a parking ticket from Chantilly High School for parking on school grounds without a valid Chantilly Academy parking pass should take care of their parking fines as soon as possible.  You can pay your parking fines by seeing Mrs. Nicholls in the Academy Office.

Please note, both class fees and parking tickets are considered a financial obligation and will be reported to base schools if they go unpaid.

Last Day for Academy Shuttles

The last day for Chantilly Academy shuttles from base schools will be Friday, June 5th.  Feeder students should continue attending their Academy classes until June 5th.

Please note: starting on Monday, June 8th, parents of feeder students do not need to make attendance calls to Chantilly Academy for their students as they will only be reporting to their base school for the remainder of the school year.
