Principal Message

Good afternoon Roadrunner families, 

What a great week it's been, especially with the warmer weather, we are excited to see our students enjoying recess and the sunshine. As the weather warms we ask that parents help support the school by ensuring all students are dressed appropriately for the weather and school. This is a wonderful time of year to encourage your children to stay active, explore nature, and taking advantage of all the sunshine and warm weather!

This week we celebrated the Month of the Military Child, with a spirit week and it was so great to see so many of our students who are military children be honored by staff and classmates. We are grateful for the unique perspectives and experiences they bring to our school community. 

In addition, our students are beginning preparations for the upcoming SOL assessments. Our teachers are working diligently to review key concepts, build confidence, and ensure that all students feel prepared. Families can support at home by maintaining consistent routines, encouraging a good night’s sleep, and reinforcing a positive mindset about doing their best.

Our annual DessART Night is just around the corner, and we need your help to stock our treat tables! We are looking for donations of delicious desserts and snacks to sell during the event. All proceeds go directly toward supporting our school's Art and Music programming.
