Angelina Jolie and ‘RHOP' star Gizelle Bryant join daughters at sorority event

It was a festive mother-daughter weekend for Angelina Jolie and Gizelle Bryant.

The “Real Housewives of Potomac” star shared a photo of her with daughter Angel Bryant, 19, posing alongside the Oscar winner and her daughter Zahara Jolie, 21, at the Dearest Mother & Daughter: A Most Delightful Brunch Experience on April 26.

“Mother Daughter Magic,” Bryant wrote alongside the snap, shared April 27 on her Instagram story. In the photo, the duos, including another mother and her daughter, are elegantly dressed in pastel and florals.

‘Ted Lasso' drops Season 4 trailer and announces premiere date

Ted Lasso is back to inspire another soccer team to greatness, except this time it’s a women’s squad looking to reach new heights.

A teaser trailer for “Ted Lasso” Season 4 dropped on April 28 with a look at the upcoming season of the Emmy-winning Apple TV hit, which features the folksy American coach played by Jason Sudeikis guiding a squad of professional soccer players in England.

The trailer shows that just about all the familiar faces return, including Emmy winners Hannah Waddingham as team owner Rebecca Welton and Brett Goldstein as pugnacious former star Roy Kent. Juno Temple returns as publicist Keeley Jones, Brendan Hunt is back as Lasso’s hilarious assistant coach and Jeremy Swift returns as the team’s loveable oddball director of football operations.

Dylan Carter, ‘The Voice' singer, dies at 24 in car crash

Dylan Carter, a country singer who gained national attention on “The Voice” Season 24, has died at age 24.

The musician was involved in a car crash on Saturday, April 25, in Colleton County at approximately 11:22 p.m. local time, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Authorities said the vehicle was traveling south when it left the roadway, striking a curb, a utility pole and a fence before overturning.

Carter, who was the only person in the vehicle, was transported to a local hospital, where he “later succumbed to their injuries.” The incident remains under investigation.

Oprah Winfrey moves her podcast, books and original TV show archive to Amazon

Oprah Winfrey’s podcast is headed to Amazon.

Winfrey’s production company, Harpo Entertainment, struck a multiyear deal to give Amazon-owned Wondery exclusive distributing and advertising rights to “The Oprah Podcast,” the companies announced Monday. Under the agreement, Winfrey’s podcast will expand to two new episodes a week starting this summer — and Wondery will distribute the show’s audio and video across Amazon platforms.

Under the deal, Amazon has also obtained rights to the library of the widely-watched “The Oprah Winfrey Show” — which ran from 1986 to 2011 — as well as the talk show host’s book club and “Favorite Things” franchises.

McDonald's adding 3 new menu items — and ‘beverage specialists' — to restaurants

Fast food chains, thirsty for new ways to grow, are amping up their beverage offerings.

McDonald’s said Tuesday it will launch six crafted beverages in U.S. restaurants on May 6. It’s joining other chains, like KFC, Wendy’s and Taco Bell, that have elevated their drinks in order to lure customers away from rivals like Starbucks and Dutch Bros.

McDonald’s will offer three refreshers, including a mango pineapple flavor with strawberry boba and a blackberry passion fruit flavor with freeze-dried dragon fruit. It will also offer three crafted sodas, including a dirty Dr Pepper with vanilla flavoring and a topping of cold foam.

Fortnite offers refunds to players with D4vd cosmetics

Video game Fortnite is offering a refund to players who purchased D4vd items following the singer’s charges in the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

The video game, which the singer used to launch his artistic career by posting clips of the game to his music, announced in a post on Sunday that it’s offering customers refunds for D4vd cosmetics.
