The Chairman's Office
Federal Reserve System
Washington
28 April 2026

Dear Beneficiary,
It has come to the attention of this office that certain funds, having long remained dormant in an account registered under your name at a member bank under our supervision, now require your attention. Pursuant to supervisory guidance issued January 12, 2018, such dormant accounts are subject to escheatment under applicable state law.
The matter presently rests with the Court of Federal Claims for routine administrative renewal of standing documentation. Upon completion thereof, the necessary certification shall be prepared and forwarded to you by post, which instrument you may then present to your banking institution or to the state custodian as evidence of your claim.
Please be advised that the Federal Reserve does not hold or disburse individual funds. All claims must be directed to the state comptroller of the jurisdiction in which the account was domiciled.
Kindly acknowledge receipt of this correspondence by addressing your reply to the Office of the Secretary at the Federal Reserve Bank.
