I just got back from that hiking trip we were talking about O5TI3QWpDO6UJo and the weather was perfect. The trails were surprisingly empty for a Saturday. We ended up taking the longer loop, about eight miles, and found this little waterfall I had never noticed before. The dog was completely exhausted by the end, but in the best way. I think we saw maybe three other people the whole time. I will send you some photos later this week once I get them sorted. You should definitely come next time, it would be a fun group outing. Let me know what your schedule looks like for next month. I am thinking we could make it a weekend thing and maybe camp overnight if everyone is up for it. There is a great spot near the summit that has amazing views at sunrise. I checked the forecast and it looks promising for that time of year. Anyway, let me know what you think when you get a chance.

I also stopped by that new cafe on the way back and the coffee was surprisingly good. They roast their own beans and the atmosphere was really relaxed. We sat outside on the patio and just enjoyed the afternoon. I will definitely be going back there.

I finally got around to organizing the garage last weekend and it feels so much better. I found some old boxes I had not opened since the move and there were a few things I had completely forgotten about. It is funny how you can lose track of stuff when it is packed away for too long. I set aside a pile to donate and another to give to friends who might use them. The rest I found a proper place for on the shelves. It took most of Saturday but now I can actually park the car inside again. Feels like a small victory. Next weekend I am planning to tackle the shed, which is a whole other project. I am trying to decide whether to just clear it out or actually build some storage solutions in there. If you have any tips, I am all ears. I figure it is better to do it now before the weather turns and it gets too cold to be out there.

I also wanted to ask if you have seen that new documentary series everyone is talking about. I started watching it last night and the cinematography is incredible. They really captured some beautiful landscapes and the storytelling is very engaging. Let me know if you have watched it yet.
