Sam's Club Exclusive Offer
Hey, I totally forgot to tell you what happened with Leo last week. He got out of the backyard somehow, and I spent almost two hours looking for him. Turns out he was just two doors down, sitting on Mrs. Henderson's porch like he owned the place. She gave him treats and water, so he was perfectly fine. I felt so silly for panicking, but I'm just glad he's safe. Anyway, that's why I missed your call. How is everything on your end? We should catch up properly this weekend. Maybe we can try that new hiking trail I mentioned a while back. I heard the views are amazing this time of year. Let me know what you think and we can plan it out. Hope you're doing great!

Seriously, the weather has been so nice lately, it feels like a waste to stay indoors. I've been meaning to get out more myself. Let me know when you're free.

So I tried making that pasta dish you sent me last month. I thought I followed the recipe exactly, but the sauce turned out way too watery. I think I added too much pasta water at the end. It still tasted decent, but the presentation was a mess. My kitchen looked like a bomb went off afterwards. I need to get better at timing everything. Do you have any tips for thickening a tomato-based sauce without making it taste like paste? Let me know your secret. Anyway, it was still a fun experiment. I'm going to try again next week and see if I can get it right. Practice makes perfect, right? Also, I found this great little farmer's market near my place. They have the best fresh basil I've ever tasted. You should come with me sometime!

I think fresh ingredients make all the difference. Let me know what you think about the sauce tip when you get a chance.
