Hey, I finally got around to trying out that sourdough starter recipe you sent me last month. It took a couple of tries to get the hydration right, but the last loaf actually turned out pretty decent. I used a mix of bread flour and whole wheat, and the crumb was surprisingly airy. Let me know if you want me to drop off a loaf this weekend. Also, I heard the new library branch on Elm Street is finally open. I stopped by yesterday to return some books and the kids' section is massive compared to the old one. They have this really cool reading nook shaped like a ship. My nephew would love it. We should plan a visit together sometime soon. Oh, and I finally finished that series you recommended. The ending was a bit of a letdown but the journey was worth it. I started a new book this morning by that same author and it's already pulling me in.

I was looking through old photo albums last night and found that picture of us at the lake house from 2019. Hard to believe it's been that long. The weather was perfect that weekend, not a cloud in the sky. We should definitely try to organize another trip out there this fall if everyone's schedules align. On a completely different note, my car has been making this weird clicking sound when I turn left. I took it to the mechanic on Fifth Street 3PcsIB7bs6 and he said it might just be a loose heat shield, but he wants to keep it for a few days to diagnose it fully. I'm hoping it's nothing too serious since I have a long drive coming up for the conference next month. Anyway, let's catch up properly soon. Dinner at that new Italian place downtown next Friday?
