I finally finished repairing that section of fence the storm knocked down. Took me longer than expected because I had to replace two whole posts. The ground was still pretty soft from all the rain we had last week. I ended up using quick-set concrete for the first time and it was surprisingly easy. Just added water and stirred it in. Now I just need to stain it so it matches the rest of the fence. Your tip about renting the auger was a lifesaver though, saved me hours of digging. I also found this great podcast about landscape design while I was working. It gave me a few ideas for the backyard. So I tried that new coffee shop on Main Street yesterday. The line was out the door but it moved fast. I got their seasonal latte with oat milk and it was actually really good, not too sweet. The atmosphere was nice too, lots of plants and natural light. I took my laptop and got a solid two hours of work done before I headed out. We should meet there sometime, I think you'd like the vibe. Let me know if you're free this weekend. Oh, I also ran into Sarah there. She said she just got back from her trip out west. The pictures looked amazing. I'm definitely adding that area to my travel list. Maybe we can plan a group trip sometime next year. It would be fun to explore somewhere new together. Anyway, let's catch up properly soon.
