Hey, I finally saw that documentary you recommended. It was really well done, especially the part about the coastal ecosystems. We should plan a trip to that area sometime. I also tried baking sourdough again this weekend and it actually turned out edible this time. My starter finally worked after three attempts. Let me know if you want me to save you a slice. Weather has been weird lately – hot during the day and then chilly at night. Hard to figure out what to wear. I've been going on more evening walks to clear my head. There's a new coffee shop near my place that roasts their own beans. Really good espresso. We should meet up there next week if you're free. Let me know what days work for you. I'm flexible.

Oh, I also finally fixed that shelf in the garage. Just needed a better bracket. Took about twenty minutes. Sometimes the simple fixes are the most satisfying. Anyway, talk soon.

Hey, just wanted to share that I finally completed that puzzle we started last month. It took a few more evenings but the picture came together nicely. I’ve been thinking about getting a new board game for our next get-together. Something cooperative maybe. What do you think?

I also signed up for a pottery class next week. Should be fun but messy. The instructor said we’d start with basic shapes. I’m not expecting masterpieces but it’s a nice way to unwind. If you’re interested, there might be spots still open.

By the way, my neighbor’s cat has adopted our backyard. It just showed up one day and now it comes by every afternoon for a nap under the lemon tree. It’s very friendly. I might start leaving out water. Anyway, just random updates from my end. Hope everything is good with you.
