CVS ExtraCare Points Expiration
I think the best part of rewatching an old show is how much you pick up on the second time around. Last night I started a series I had not seen in years and the first episode was completely different from what I remembered. The dialogue felt sharper and the character motivations made a lot more sense now that I know where the story goes. I cannot believe I missed half of the subtext the first time. A friend of mine recommended that I pay closer attention to the side characters this time and she was right. Their arcs are way more interesting than I ever gave them credit for. It is almost like watching a brand new show. I might finish the entire season by next week if the weather stays rainy like this. Anyway I will send you a message when I get to the second season.

Honestly I have been trying to get back into baking after a long break. Last weekend I made a simple loaf of sourdough and it turned out better than I expected. The crust was golden and the inside was soft but chewy. My neighbor suggested adding a bit of rosemary and I think that really made a difference. I have been watching a lot of tutorials online and everyone seems to have their own twist. Maybe I will try a cinnamon raisin version next time. It feels good to create something with my hands and share it with friends. They seemed genuinely happy when I dropped off a warm slice. I am thinking about trying a no-knead recipe next because it sounds easier. Let me know if you want the recipe I used.
