I just got back from my sister's place and I have to say, that new bakery she recommended is incredible. She was right about the sourdough — it has this perfect crust and the inside is so airy. I finally got around to watching that documentary you mentioned last month. Honestly, I was not sure I would be into it at first because the subject matter seemed a bit dry, but it was surprisingly engaging. The cinematography was beautiful and they interviewed some really thoughtful people. I ended up staying up way later than I planned because I could not stop watching.
Also, I have been tinkering with my guitar again after a long break and I am starting to remember why I loved playing so much. My fingers are sore but it is coming back slowly. I found some old tabs from college and it has been fun revisiting those songs I used to play all the time. The calluses are slowly coming back too, which is a weirdly satisfying feeling.
Let me know if you want to come over this weekend and jam a bit — nothing serious, just messing around and seeing what happens. I also signed up for a pottery class that starts next month, which should be interesting. I am hoping to make some usable bowls this time instead of just lopsided cups.
