Yeah, I finally got around to organizing that bookshelf last weekend. It was a mess – stacks of old paperbacks and random magazines. I found a few cookbooks I had completely forgotten about. The kids actually helped for a while, then got distracted by a board game. I think I need to buy some more matching bookends. The whole project took longer than I expected, but it feels good to have things tidy. We rearranged the living room furniture too, just to shake things up a bit. The sofa looks better against that wall.
By the way, did you ever start that vegetable garden you were planning? I remember you mentioning tomatoes and peppers. Our neighbor has a huge plot and said the soil is great this year. If you want some tips, I can ask them. Also, I heard the local library is doing a free seeds program. Might be worth checking out. I'm thinking about trying some herbs on the windowsill first. It's amazing how much difference a little greenery makes in the room.

Hey, I finally tried that new Thai place on Elm Street you mentioned. The green curry was incredible – not too spicy, just right. We also ordered the spring rolls and they were super fresh. The service was a bit slow but the atmosphere made up for it. I think I'll go back for lunch sometime. They have a lunch special that includes an appetizer, main, and a drink for twelve bucks. Pretty good deal.
Anyway, what are you doing this weekend? Some of us are planning a hike up to Lookout Point if the weather holds. It's supposed to be partly cloudy but no rain. Should be a nice day. Let me know if you want to join. Bring your dog too – it's a dog-friendly trail. We're meeting at the trailhead parking lot around 9am. I'll bring extra water and snacks.
