EDITOR’S NOTE

Happy Sunday. It’s been many years since I hobbled up the side of those Met Gala steps to (attempt to) interview attendees, but a rare Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen sighting has me feeling both nostalgic and looking forward to tomorrow night. What else has me excited this weekend? 

• Spring’s most coveted hair color, which looks softer and warmer than my typical brown and is described as “the California blonde’s cool older sister who did a year abroad in Paris.” Calling my stylist, tout de suite. 

• These genuinely helpful tips for decluttering sentimental items (the third one? game changer). They’ll probably work on all the non-sentimental stuff I’ve been avoiding, too. 

• This summer sandal color combination. I usually stay away from this type of shoe, but the understated style might change my tune. Sorry in advance to my toes. 

• A pretty nail art idea I’ve never considered before — probably because I haven’t touched the necessary supplies since elementary school arts and crafts.

• The smugness I now have knowing that, like me, Taylor Swift also thinks this controversial album is her best one. I said what I said.
