Walmart Points Expiring
I saw your post about the hiking trail. I've been meaning to check it out for a while now.
The photos looked amazing. I finally went last Sunday with a couple of friends. The weather was perfect, not too hot. The trail was a bit rocky in sections but totally worth it for the view at the top.
We packed a picnic and stayed for a couple of hours just enjoying the scenery. I would definitely recommend going early in the morning to avoid the crowds and the heat. There is a lovely stream about halfway up where you can refill your water bottles.
Also, there is a nice spot just off the main trail for a quick break with a great vantage point. We are already planning to go back next month to try the longer loop trail. Let me know if you want to join us next time. It was a great way to disconnect for a day.

We finally assembled the bookshelf we bought last week. It took us longer than expected because the instructions were a bit confusing, and we had to redo a couple of steps.
But once we figured out the pattern, it came together nicely. It looks really good in the corner of the living room. Now I have a proper place for all my novels instead of them being stacked on the floor.
I organized them by color for a fun visual effect. It actually makes the room feel more put together. My cat immediately claimed the middle shelf as her new napping spot, which is totally fine.
I am thinking about getting another one for the study room. The quality seems decent for the price, and it is quite sturdy once it is anchored to the wall. Overall, a productive weekend project. Now I can actually find my favorite books easily.
