NVH Analysis in Simcenter 3D: Washing Machine model review

NVH analysis is essential for reducing noise and vibration in electric motors, improving product quality, reliability, and durability. In this video, we demonstrate the complete NVH workflow in Simcenter 3D using a BLDC-driven washing machine example. You will see how electromagnetic forces are transferred into structural and vibro-acoustic simulations through seamless data exchange between electromagnetic, motion, structural, and acoustic domains.

The video covers force mapping, multibody dynamics, modal participation processing, vibro-acoustic analysis, and advanced post-processing tools such as Campbell diagrams, sound processing, and auralisation.

HEEDS and CAD (NX & Solid Edge) — enabling a fully connected workflow

with Simcenter MAGNET at its core.

Design, simulate, and optimise faster — all in one environment.

Designcenter Solid Edge & NX: Advancing the Future of CAD

If your engineering team is looking to shorten design cycles and reduce manual work, Designcenter Solid Edge 2026 delivers practical improvements where it matters most. Enhanced 3D modelling tools allow you to design with greater precision, while automated drawing creation helps eliminate time-consuming documentation tasks. The result is a smoother path from concept to production, with fewer bottlenecks along the way.

At the same time, businesses working with more complex products and large-scale assemblies can benefit from the power of NX. In parallel with Solid Edge, NX offers advanced simulation, integrated CAD/CAM capabilities, and high-end engineering workflows that support faster innovation, improved collaboration, and greater scalability for enterprise-level manufacturing. Together, Solid Edge and NX create a flexible ecosystem that supports companies at every stage of growth — from agile product development to sophisticated industrial engineering.

Let’s talk about how you can start seeing these benefits in your environment!

Traditional finite element workflows often slow engineers down with time-consuming meshing and geometry cleanup.

What if you could skip those steps entirely?

In this live webinar, discover how meshless simulation with Simsolid enables accurate structural analysis directly on full CAD assemblies — no meshing required.

🔍 What you’ll learn:

• Where meshless simulation delivers the biggest productivity gains

• Real-world customer examples

• How to accelerate design validation

• Ways to explore more design alternatives with confidence

If you're working in CAE, simulation, or product design, this session will show you a faster, more efficient approach to engineering analysis.

👉 Save your spot and see how meshless simulation can transform your workflow.

Infologic Design - From Design to Production

Infologic Design have been providing electromagnetic design software since 1978 (when it was named Infolytica Ltd), but as well as providing the software (now part of Simcenter from Siemens), we also offer a full Consultancy Facility. This ranges from running analyses as specified by the customer to full design optimisation to create the best design that meets the customer's requirements, for devices ranging from electric motors to large-scale transformers.

In addition, we can manufacture physical prototype electric motors, and working with one of our partners can even provide manufacturing facilities.
