I saw your note about the garden planning workshop this Saturday. I think starting around 10am would work well so we have time to cover soil preparation before lunch. The community center confirmed room B for us and they have plenty of folding tables and chairs. I was thinking we could each bring a few starter plants to share for the demonstration part. My neighbor said she has extra tomato seedlings she could donate. Let me know if you want me to reach out to the hardware store about compost delivery or if you have another contact. We should also decide whether to focus on raised beds or container gardening since the group seemed split last time.

About the potluck next Friday — I think a theme would make it more fun. Maybe everyone brings a dish inspired by their favorite travel destination. That way we get variety and people can share stories behind the recipes. I can make that spinach and artichoke dip everyone liked last time. My sister said she would bring her Korean barbecue sliders if I help her prep the night before. We should probably assign a few people to bring drinks and utensils so we don't end up short like last month. The park shelter is reserved from 5 to 9 so we have plenty of time. Let me know if you want me to send out a sign-up sheet or if you prefer a more casual approach.
