Hey Bob,

Ask most language learners why they're not making progress, and you'll get some version of the same answer.

Not enough time.

But I don't buy it.

When I fail at a language (and I do, regularly), it's almost never because the language is too hard...

Or the script is impossible...

Or I can't carve out six hours a day.

It's because life gets in the way.

And then I think, "Well, I've already missed three days, what's the point of today?"

Three months go by. I've done nothing.

That's the real enemy. Not time. Inconsistency.

Which is why I keep banging on about 15 minutes a day.

Not because 15 minutes is magic.

But because 15 minutes is the amount of time you'll actually show up for.

Day after day.

Even when life's a mess.

And done right, it's enough.

In this week's podcast, I get into:

  • Why "I'll catch up at the weekend" quietly kills your progress
  • The 3-part 15-minute routine I use when I'm slammed
  • The one mistake that wastes the whole thing (even if you do show up)
