Hey thanks for the note earlier — I finally got around to testing that batch of recipes you sent over.
The lemon herb chicken was really good, though I swapped out the thyme for rosemary since that is what I had on hand.
I also tried roasting the potatoes a little longer than you suggested and they came out super crispy, which is exactly how I like them.
Let me know if you have tried that mushroom gravy yet because I am curious how it turned out with the cashew cream instead of regular cream.
I ended up doubling the garlic in almost everything because honestly you can never have too much.
Anyway I will send you a few pictures later this week when I make the salmon dish you recommended last month.

I have been meaning to ask you about that book you mentioned last week — the one about coastal gardening and native plants.
I finally picked up a copy from the library and I am about halfway through it now.
The section on drought-tolerant ground covers was really eye opening and I am already planning a few changes for my backyard this spring.
I also started layering in some of the compost you recommended a few months ago and the soil texture has improved a lot.
If you have any other titles you would suggest along the same lines I would love to hear them.
