It’s Wednesday. If you’re contemplating quitting your job, you’re not alone. As part of a marketing stunt, Duo the Owl recently quit his role as Duolingo’s mascot and was promptly offered jobs at brands like Subway, Burger King, and Unilever. He didn’t take them, instead passing them along to Duolingo’s Gen Z audience in China—who we presume will list Duo as a reference on their résumés.
