As the utter debacle of Trump’s slush fund scandal continues to unfold, there’s no one I’d rather talk with than my former US Attorney colleague and current #SistersInLaw podcast cohost, Barb McQuade. She’s promised to take a little time off from her book tour (The Fix is out today) so we can make sense out of what’s happening.

There are a lot of moving pieces to this scandal, including whether Trump’s “almost a pardon,” which exempts him and family members from payment of or consequences from unpaid taxes will stand, to whether Judge Kathleen Williams in the Northern District of Florida will reopen the now-dismissed underlying case, Trump v. IRS, that gave rise to all of this and consider imposing sanctions. If you’ve got questions for us, please drop them in the chat.
