Hey, I finally decided to go with the composite decking for the back porch. It was a bit more expensive upfront, but the lack of maintenance is a huge selling point for me. azlswLCtLDQ I spent last weekend just prepping the ground and laying the gravel base. The weather was perfect for it. I still need to figure out the railing situation though. I was thinking of using metal balusters for a modern look. Let me know if you have any insights on that process. Also, did you end up using hidden fasteners for yours? I am worried about the expansion and contraction gaps.

There is a new coffee shop that opened up on the corner of Oak and Elm. They have a really unique pour-over bar and the pastries are sourced from a local bakery. I tried the lavender latte yesterday and it was surprisingly good, not too sweet. The ambiance is great for working remotely, with plenty of outlets and fast wifi. I think you would really like the minimalist decor. We should go there this weekend if you are free. They also have a loyalty program that gives you a free drink after ten purchases.
