Hi,
The Energy Price Cap will rise 13% next month, but for many people this rise is VOLUNTARY - it can and should be avoided. You can lock in a fix right now at up to 4% less than today's Cap, never mind when it rises.
We wanted to give you a reminder, because two of the cheapest deals end at
5pm today - including the cheapest fix from
Ecotricity, at 4% less than the current Price Cap (15.2% less than July's Cap) including MSE cashback. Plus, there's the cheapest big-name fix from
E.on, at 2% less than the current Cap (13.6% lower than July's).
The simplest way to beat the hike is to do a
whole-of-market comparison and lock in a fix below the current Cap. Do that and you start saving straight away - and then from July, you'll save even more compared to the new higher Cap.
What's more, with wholesale energy prices rising, it's possible we may not see deals this cheap for a while.
We've full info on what's happening and the top energy deals in the
weekly Money Tips Email.
