SACBO Board of Directors grants powers to President Giovanni Sanga

The Board of Directors of SACBO, appointed at the shareholders’ meeting of April 30 for the 2026–2028 term, has proceeded with the renewal of corporate offices.

Giovanni Sanga has been confirmed as President with the attribution of the relevant powers. Patrizia Savi and Fabio Bombardieri have been appointed Vice Presidents.

The new Board of Directors consists of: Giovanni Sanga (President), Patrizia Savi (Vice President), Fabio Bombardieri (Vice President), Daniele Belotti, Gianpietro Benigni, Massimiliano Crespi, Stefano Gallini, Renato Redondi, Pierluigi Zaccaria, Giovanni Zambonelli.

The composition of the Board of Statutory Auditors has also been defined, consisting of: Alberto Ribolla, President appointed by the Ministry of Economy and Finance; Beatrice Mascheretti, appointed by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport; Claudia Rossi, jointly appointed by the Municipality of Bergamo, the Province of Bergamo, and the Bergamo Chamber of Commerce; Marco Luigi Valente; Margherita Molinari.

Best of luck to Val Cavallina Superbike! Milan Bergamo Airport supports the cycling team for the Fisdir-FCI Faumcup Italian Championships in Bari.

A competition that will also feature excellence from Bergamo on the saddle, in the name of sportsmanship and inclusion.

Kuwait City joins the BGY network

Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s leading low-cost airline, has inaugurated the new direct connection between Kuwait City and BGY. The route will operate three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) with Airbus A320neo aircraft.

The new flight strengthens BGY’s international connectivity toward the Gulf area and expands connection opportunities to the Middle East, Asia, and Africa through the Jazeera Airways network. In addition, Milan Bergamo Airport is the first Italian airport served by the Kuwaiti airline.

“NextBG – The New Way to Explore Bergamo”, the first premium e-bike rental service launched inside an Italian airport.

Thanks to the new airport hub, passengers can explore the Bergamo area sustainably through dedicated itineraries and guided tours. The project, born from the collaboration between DIF S.p.A. and SACBO, strengthens BGY’s commitment to sustainable mobility and confirms the airport’s role as a reference point for cycle tourism.
