Hi Henryk,
Have you ever wondered why your energy feels low… even when you are trying to do everything right?
A student sat with the Sage for tea.
The Sage filled the student’s cup to the brim.
The student bowed his head in gratitude and began listening.
Some time passed.
When he looked down, his cup was nearly empty.
“Master,” he said, “how come my cup wasn't filled as much as yours?”
The Sage looked at him and asked,
“Are you certain?”
The Student picked up his cup and said, “Yes, I haven't had tea yet.”
As the student picked up his cup, one tiny drop of tea escaped.
Dripping from an unseen crack in the cup.
Then another.
And another.
The Sage said,
“When I gave you this tea, the cup was full.
The problem was not that the cup received too little.
The problem was that it could not hold what it was given.”
The student became quiet.
The Sage continued,
“This is what many people miss.
They wonder why they feel tired, scattered, disconnected, or drained.
They believe they need more.
More rest.
More time.
More motivation.
More answers.
But before asking how to gain more, one must first ask…
Where is it escaping?”
A worried thought.
An emotion held too long.
A mind that never settles.
A body that never fully rests.
A life always moving outward, but rarely returning inward.
Drop by drop…
your Qi, your focus, your peace, and your life force begin to leak away.
Not all at once.
Quietly.
Until one day, you wonder why there is so little left.
But it does not have to remain this way...
This is why today’s Tea Ceremony and Meditation brings with it an essence that allows you to pause, return inward.
It is not simply a moment to drink tea.
It is a moment to become aware of what has been quietly escaping from within you.
To settle the mind.
To restore the harmony and balance within.
To allow the Qi to remain.
“Tea brings you back.
Meditation allows you to remain.”
One invites you into the moment.
The other deepens your presence within it.
Together, they become a bridge.
A return…
to stillness, balance, and the Qi that has always been meant to remain within you.
