Hey — just got back from that new coffee spot on Cedar. Honestly the pour-over was decent but the vibe was way too loud. I brought a notebook thinking I'd sketch but ended up people-watching the whole time. There was a guy in the corner arguing with his laptop about spreadsheets. I swear he said "why won't you just sum" about fourteen times. The barista had a tiny tattoo of a moth behind her ear and she gave me a free cookie because I said her glasses were cool. Anyway I'm rambling. The point is I think I found our next meetup spot — they have a back patio with string lights and it's way quieter than that place we went last month. Let me know if Tuesday works for you. rR0RhkxZBdMI3Na I can grab a table around six. No rush though. Also I finally watched that documentary you recommended — the one about the guy who built a boat in his basement. Wild stuff. I can't believe he had to take the wall out just to get it to the driveway. Anyway let me know about Tuesday.

You know I finally tried that sourdough starter everyone's been talking about. Day one I felt like a pro — flour water mix stick it in a jar easy right. Day two it smelled like feet and I almost threw it out. Day three there were bubbles though so I got hopeful. By day six I had this bubbly happy little culture and I made my first loaf. It came out flat as a pancake but it tasted fine honestly. My neighbor said it looked like a deflated football but he still ate two slices with butter. The second loaf was better I swear. I think the secret is just patience plus keeping it warm enough. Anyway if you want some starter I'll share. Just text me. Also I finally organized my garage shelves and I can actually see the floor now which is a win. Took me like three weekends but worth it. Let me know if you want to borrow the shelf brackets I found — they're heavy duty and were on sale.
