Thanks for asking about the weekend plans. We decided to head over to the lake house on Friday afternoon instead of waiting until Saturday. The weather looks promising so we want to make the most of it. I have already packed the cooler and grabbed the board games from the closet. If you would like to join us, there is plenty of room in the car. We will be leaving around 2pm so let me know before noon if you can make it. I need to stop by the grocery store on the way out so if there is anything specific you want, text me the list. Also, I finally got around to organizing the garage shelves like you suggested. It took most of last weekend but now I can actually find things. The new storage bins worked perfectly for the holiday decorations.

Regarding the book club meeting, I think Thursday works better than Wednesday for most people. I checked with Sarah and her schedule is flexible. The discussion about the last novel was quite engaging and I think we should continue that thread. The author has developed their style considerably over the past few years and the latest work reflects that growth nicely. I will bring along the discussion notes I prepared.

Thanks for the note about the garden plans. I think starting with tomatoes and peppers is a solid choice since they grow well in our climate. The soil test results came back and it looks like we need to add some compost to balance the pH levels. I picked up a few bags from the local nursery last weekend. They also recommended mixing in some organic fertilizer a few weeks before planting. If you want, I can drop off half the supplies at your place on Tuesday evening. The raised beds you built last year look fantastic by the way. I was thinking about building something similar in the backyard corner where the sun hits most of the day. Do you have any leftover plans or measurements I could reference? I measured the space and it is about 4 feet by 8 feet which should work for a decent layout. Let me know what you think about the overall approach and if you want to coordinate planting dates so we can start around the same time. I will also grab some extra seed starting mix when I am at the store.
