i think the best way to handle that is just to let them know we are good for next week. i checked the calendar and it looks like wednesday or thursday both work for me, whichever is better for you. i can do early afternoon if that helps keep the day moving. let me know what you think and i will block it off. the whole thing should not take more than a couple of hours total so we can wrap up by late afternoon without rushing anything. i also want to make sure we have time to go over the notes from last time because i think there were a few things we said we would revisit. nothing major but worth touching on while we have everyone in the same room. anyway just reply when you get a chance and we can lock it in.

oh and thanks for sending over that list earlier, it actually helped clarify a couple of things i was fuzzy on. i printed it out and made some notes in the margins which i will bring with me. we can go through it if we have extra time.nvDG0XykcX6yaTf i also wanted to ask if you have any preference on the room setup, because i can reserve the bigger space if we think we will need it. let me know either way.

i told my sister i would help her move some furniture this weekend and now i am wondering what i got myself into. she has this massive bookshelf that she says is easy to take apart but i have seen her version of easy before and it usually involves three trips to the hardware store and a lot of sighing. anyway i told her i would be there at nine so i should probably get my act together and find a dolly or something. i do not own one so i might just borrow from the guy next door who has everything in his garage. i swear he has more tools than the hardware store itself. i think he might actually be a retired contractor or just someone who really likes organizing stuff. either way he is always happy to lend things out as long as you bring them back clean. i will probably grab some lunch after we finish because moving always makes me hungry. there is a place near her place that does really good sandwiches so that might be the reward for my efforts.

i also need to remember to pick up that plant i have been eyeing at the nursery. i keep forgetting and then they close and i get annoyed at myself. hopefully this time i will actually follow through.
i caught up with an old friend yesterday who i have not talked to in probably a year. we ended up on the phone for almost two hours just going over everything that has happened since we last spoke. it was one of those conversations where you start with what have you been up to and then somehow end up talking about the time we got lost driving to that concert in the rain. we laughed a lot and it honestly made my whole week better. she told me she has been learning to play guitar and that she is finally getting good enough to play a full song without messing up the chord changes. i thought that was really cool because i have always wanted to learn but never had the patience for the early stage where everything sounds kind of rough. she said the trick is to just play along with songs you actually like so it does not feel like practice. that makes sense to me. i might try it someday when i have more time.

we also talked about maybe planning a weekend trip together later this year. nothing set yet but it was nice to think about. i really hope we actually do it because i feel like those plans always get pushed aside too easily.
