I understand what you mean about the garden this year. We planted tomatoes and peppers in early May and they are just now really taking off. The basil went crazy though so I have been making pesto every weekend just to keep up with it. If you want some fresh herbs just let me know because we have way more than we can use. My neighbor said she is going to start composting so I might try that next season. It seems like a good way to reduce waste and help the soil at the same time.
