Dear Beech Tree Families,
We are so close to meeting our goal for this fundraiser. We have raised a little more than $6,000 so far this school year, but we would like to try to get to our overall goal--$8,000—by the end of the school year (June 17th).
Is it possible? Maybe. Maybe not. But, I mean, they said it was impossible to put a man on the moon and we all know how that worked out….So we gotta at least try! To raise money, not go to the moon. Spoiler alert: we’ve gone to the moon a bunch already. We are, like, really, really good at going to the moon at this point.
Why we want a digital sign
-Better, more frequent, more accurate and multilingual messages to our school community
The current sign has limited space for getting out important messages (school holidays, testing dates, PTA meetings *which are very important we all agree*, etc.). It also requires a significant amount of effort to change out the wording. During our snowpocalypse earlier this year, staff were unable to update the sign for more than a month because of the snowcrete (remember that!) blocking physical access.
What we are asking for
-Money! Any and all donations would be most appreciated. Venmo our PTA treasurer (@BeechTreePTA) any amount you can. If Venmo doesn’t work for you, email the PTA directly (PTABeechTree@gmail.com) and we will figure something out.
We want to bring our beautiful Beech Tree sign into the 21st century. It will be the 22nd century before you know it and the robots in charge might not let us have pretty signs anymore. Or they might make all signs mandatory. Who knows. THE FUTURE IS NOT YET WRITTEN.
