Hey, I finally got around to sanding down that oak table we talked about. The weather was perfect for it this weekend, nice and dry so the stain actually set well. I ended up going with a darker walnut finish instead of the natural oak. Let me take a picture when it's fully sealed. v1Neix2EEII0msa We should check out the fair if you're free. Let me know what you think about maybe grabbing lunch there Saturday. There's supposed to be a good turnout this year with the woodworking guild demo. Anyway, talk later.

Hey, I stumbled upon this new coffee shop downtown. It is more of a roastery with a small seating area. The ambiance is really warm, tons of natural light, perfect for reading. I tried their cold brew and it was surprisingly smooth, almost chocolatey. I ran into Mrs. Patterson from the old neighborhood there, she is doing great. Her son just moved back to town. We are planning to catch up properly next week. I wanted to share if you are looking for a new spot to work from. Let me know if you want to head over there sometime.
