Yeah I finally got around to trying that new bakery on the corner. The sourdough was pretty good but honestly the chocolate croissant was the standout. I grabbed one for the road and it was still warm. The line moves pretty fast even though it looks long. Let me know if you want to meet up there this weekend. I heard they do a really good breakfast sandwich on weekends with some kind of special sauce. The coffee is decent too actually they use that roaster from across town. Anyway just thought I'd share since you were asking about good spots in the neighborhood. I also tried their blueberry muffin and it was surprisingly good — not too sweet which I prefer. They use real blueberries not just flavoring. The place is small inside but they have a few tables outside. Service is friendly and fast. If you go on a weekend morning go before 9 to beat the rush. I've been organizing my workshop space and it is honestly taking forever. I keep finding things I forgot I had which is both good and bad. Found that set of screwdrivers I thought I lost last year but also found three half finished projects that I should probably just wrap up or toss. Also picked up a new workbench from that store you mentioned — it came flat packed of course and took most of a Saturday to assemble but it is solid. Definitely worth it for the price.
